Draci was born and raised in the Boston area, growing up around his father’s Musician friends. One of the family friends offered to give Draci drum lessons and loaned him a drum set. This was all it took at that young age; Draci decided what he wanted to do and from that point there was no turning back.

Draci was influenced by anything that was loud and heavy; especially material that had major kicking drum beats. He played the Snare Drum for the school band and was constantly getting in trouble for trying to beef-up the traditional school band songs. Early on he decided that it was time to follow his love for hard-driving music and recruited two of his good friends, convincing them to put down the trumpet and saxophone in exchange for a Guitar and a Bass. Soon after Draci’s first real band called “Blind Rage”, practicing everyday for months, Blind Rage began to get receive recognition among their classmates which motivated Draci even further. While he played stronger and grew as a musician, he realized that his band mates weren’t as serious about music as he was. So he up and left home at the age of 15 to move on in pursuit of his dream.

He played in a handful on bands from the ground up with nothing panning out. Then he co-formed the band “Downpour”, with a few semi-successful musicians. Downpour drew a good crowd, received radio play, a few magazine write-ups, and the opportunity to play opening for a few national acts like, “Gang Green”, “Malia Rage”, “Widowmaker”, “Wargasm” and “The Bostones”. As dealings with Metal & Blade Records came to the table, problems with the band arose halting everything. With Draci feeling like his rug of success got pulled out from underneath him, he gathered up a gym bag of clothes, a greyhound bus ticket, and $1,300 to relocate to San Francisco, CA. After the rough times of sleeping in abandoned cars and Golden Gate Park, Draci landed a job at Guitar Center. He was getting back on track and acquired a new drum set. He began his search for new band members, but after only having a lot of fun, he quickly realized he needed to relocate again and moved to Phoenix, AZ. Living in Phoenix brought him the opportunity of playing with a few small bands until he saw a local ad in the New Times publication for a drummer. Draci met up with singer, Sal and guitarists, Cyd. The three had similar influences and were amazed when they realized they were all from the same neck of the woods in Boston. Soon after the three of them started jamming, Gretch came into the picture and “A.T.N.” was born.

Over the years with A.T.N., Draci had recorded one full length CD called “Sabbath Sessions”, played countless shows, made TV appearances and has had local radio play. Despite all that success, Draci became sadly separated from the band in 2000 due to internal and external personal forces.

As an attempt to recoup, he joined forces with Gretch’s other band “Chamber 8” playing with Gretch, Gary, Kevin and Tim. Not too long after joining Chamber 8, he was separated from them due to the same forces that seemed to be following him his whole life. This drove Draci into a hyadis for awhile until he had a comforting phone conversation with his former A.T.N. band mates one night. This launched back up the original A.T.N. members. Currently, Draci is working with A.T.N. to write new material for their upcoming 2nd CD. He is extremely excited to be reunited with his brothers of the music once again.
